Meet Courtney
POSTPARTUM DOULA & EDUCATOR
Courtney (she/her) and her husband moved from Wichita, Kansas, almost ten years ago and have made themselves a happy little home in Nashville! In the early years of marriage, Courtney was a nanny for five children, and then moved on to work as a medical assistant at a cardiology office. She stopped working in 2015 to have her first baby, and after struggling with perinatal and postpartum depression, she became passionate about maternal health—mental and physical.
After her own difficult transition into motherhood and becoming aware of the obvious lack of support for new parents, she trained with DONA International as a postpartum doula. Courtney’s goal is to educate and support new parents, filling the gaps and offering comfort so parents can spend time getting to know their new baby. Her empathy and warmth makes her clients feel safe, and she offers unbiased information that empowers parents in their new roles.
When she is not working with families, she is taking care of her children, spending time outside with her family, napping, or reading about the enneagram!

“She made me feel like I knew what I was doing, even as a first-time mom.”
“Courtney was a god-send for my husband and me! Having her in my home after our son was born brought so much comfort to me during some of the more difficult moments of postpartum momhood. She was so helpful and sweet! She made me feel like I knew what I was doing , even as a first-time mom. Love her, and would highly recommend her (and have) to many of my friends!”
