Meet Katie
Katie (she/her) is a postpartum doula who supports families overnight and loves helping everyone get the sleep they so desperately need in the newborn period.
After the birth of her first child in 2016, Katie decided to not return to her corporate HR job and instead set out on learning what kind of job she could get to help support new parents in the thick of it. With the realization and lived experience that not all births go as planned, and that parenthood can be different than the serene photos seen on Instagram, Katie decided to pursue a new career as a Postpartum Doula where she could help new parents as they transitioned into this new, exciting phase of life.
As a certified Postpartum Doula since 2019, Katie has a wealth of evidence-based knowledge and experience to bring to the table for each client she works with. She loves the nuance found in each family and journey, and brings an open mind and heart to each client. Working with new families to support, nurture, and educate is Katie’s top priority, and she does so with a calm demeanor that helps the often fraught adjustment feel more smooth and doable.
Outside of all things postpartum, Katie loves fitness, listening to podcasts, spending time with her family, and lots of coffee. She lives in Spring Hill with her husband, sons, and pup.
