Meet Fanny
Fanny (she/her) grew up in France, and studied Food Science, and also Health & Nutrition in college. She worked several years in the medical research field before moving to Nashville in 2018 with her husband, daughter, and cat.
Her passion for perinatal care, birth and parenthood began while she was expecting her first child, but it was after her move to the United States and the birth of her second child that she decided to turn this passion into a full-time job. She decided to take her birth & postpartum doula trainings, and soon after joined East Nashville Doulas. She is a certified birth & postpartum doula with DONA International.
Fanny’s goal is to help families focus on their well-being and support them through this time of adjustments. She fosters self-confidence and empowers parents through education and evidence-based information.
She has always lived in a multicultural environment and brings her experience navigating differences successfully into her work with families. She tailors her support to the family’s style and needs, always respectfully and non-judgmentally.
When she is not supporting families, you can find Fanny cooking tasty and nutritious meals for her family, reading, listening to music and podcasts, or spending time with friends. Fanny also likes hiking with her family, traveling and exploring her new country when she can.
