Meet Anna
Anna Wiseman (she/her) is a single mom of 5, born and raised in Inglewood. It is from her own personal journey, birthing and raising 5 very different babies and becoming the natural first call for all the new mothers in her life, that she realized she has a gift for standing with people during their most tender days. She is truly inspired by witnessing the birth of a family.
Anna has supported many families, both personally and professionally. She lovingly brings her skill set to homes of all family dynamics and structures. The combination of her personal experience, DONA training, and strong intuition make her an ideal postpartum partner. She helps families to feel seen and supported, comforted and cared for, prepared, equipped, and confident. Anna knows that every family has different needs, and she is gifted at assessing needs on an individual, affirming basis.
Anna feels incredibly lucky to have her mom, siblings, and nieces and nephews as neighbors. Outside of working, Anna loves family dinner, her cats, being in nature, and hearing her kids laugh.

East Nashville Doulas was recommended by our nanny agency, and we were assigned Anna W. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect doula. Kind, compassionate, punctual, professional and a heart of *pure* gold…platinum…Anna was/is everything!! Our babygirl was instantly at home with her - as were we. I don’t remember the last time I was able to get that deep of sleep - which was only possible because I knew our baby girl was in the best of hands. We continued her services beyond the gifted nights for as long as we were allowed.
My only “gripe” is that I wish we could have had her beyond 12 weeks. I know we have to “share” and that the focus is getting us through the “4th trimester,” but we miss her dearly and hated having to part with our beloved Anna. The bright/up side is that we gained a beautiful, priceless friend in Anna who will continue to watch our baby and family grow.
