Meet Rebecca

POSTPARTUM DOULA

Rebecca Norris (she/her) is a postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, educator, and lactation counselor. She specializes in daytime postpartum support, drawing from her decade of professional experience to help families of all kinds as they navigate life with a newborn. Rebecca excels at helping families sift through the overwhelming options to make choices that feel right for them. Clients appreciate her calm, caring presence and extensive knowledge of various baby and parenting topics.

Rebecca’s passion for supporting families during the postpartum period began after she had three babies within 3 years, including identical twins. She began serving as a postpartum resource in her community and supporting friends when they gave birth to their own children, before officially launching her career as a professional Postpartum Doula in 2015. Since then she’s added Newborn Care Specialist and Child Passenger Safety Technician training, and Certified Lactation Counselor training and certification in 2019 with re-certification in 2023. She also has a business degree from the University of Mississippi.

In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys listening to audiobooks, doing puzzles, starting various crochet projects, and spending time with her family. She lives in Hendersonville with her wife Hannah, their three teenage sons, and two large dogs.

Mother to three

We can’t say enough good things about our experience with our postpartum doulas, Brayta and Courtney.

The majority of our time was spent with our overnight doula, Brayta. She was a godsend—literally the reason I’ve made it through motherhood. This was our first child, and Brayta helped support me through long nights, frustrating nursing sessions, milk spills, all of it. Her patience and kindness were truly a blessing. She not only supported my journey as a mother but also took wonderful care of our baby.
