Meet Ghene’t
POSTPARTUM DOULA
Ghene’t (she/her) discovered the doula profession as a young mother, and after years of working in early childhood education and supporting families through every stage, she finally found her true calling. She specializes in overnight care, offering gentle newborn support, feeding assistance, and emotional reassurance to ensure both baby and parents feel nurtured. Whether you need a full night’s rest or guidance through nighttime feedings, she creates a calm, supportive environment tailored to your family’s needs.
One of her favorite things to hear from parents is, “I fell asleep and woke up, and it was morning!” Her passion is making sure moms, birthing parents, partners, and families get what they need most during this time—rest.
“I love helping families during this sacred transition. My work with children and families has shown me how vital emotional health is for the mother, baby, and entire family. Everyone needs time—siblings need one-on-one moments with their parents, babies need round-the-clock care, moms need rest and recovery, and parents need time to connect with each other.”
Ghene’t strives to be a calm, peaceful, and non-intrusive presence, relieving tension and providing space for families to navigate this delicate transition.
When she’s not supporting families, you can find her hiking, spending time with her children, reading and writing.
