Meet EJ
EJ (she/her) grew up in Alabama and moved to Nashville almost 18 years ago with her husband Chad to begin a new adventure after they both graduated from Auburn University.
She is passionate about helping families through hands-on, nonjudgemental support of pregnancy, labor, and their postpartum period. EJ has been drawn to this work since her college days, but decided to pursue a degree in Psychology instead. She is a certified birth doula and trained postpartum doula through DONA.
EJ has an innate ability to serve, coach, empower women and strengthen families. Her warm, calming presence has been known to bring light into any room and warmth to many hearts. Being the atmosphere changer that she is known for being, her clients will benefit from her birthing knowledge, her adaptability as a team player, and her servants-heart. She has used these attributes to serve many people through the years, and brings that calming presence and her coaching abilities to her doula work.
When EJ is not serving and empowering families, she is creatively planning parties for various events, decorating, and spending quality time with her husband, young adult son Javari, teenage daughters Jada & Juliana, and her morkie, Bo.
