Meet Chloe

BIRTH & POSTPARTUM DOULA

Chloe (she/they) is a birth and postpartum doula with a forever love for sitting with people in the thick of stressful situations or transitions.

For their entire life, Chloe has always found ways to sit with people while they wrestle with vulnerable feelings, usually finding herself in a caretaker or calming position for whomever is going through said experience. Throughout her entire pregnancy with her first child in 2019-2020, Chloe grew an increasingly strong passion for birth work and becoming a doula. Through listening to every episode of the NATAL and Evidence Based Birth podcasts, they were assured of their desire to pursue doula training and work. Chloe eventually completed Full Spectrum Doula training through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings in Fall of 2021, and has been working as a doula since 2022.

Chloe currently has two children- Vaeda and Arlo. She has a perfectly unhinged cat named Shrimp and a loving partner named Austin who works as an EMT.

When Chloe is not working as a doula, she is also working for Nurture the Next as a Parent Educator, providing evidence-based home visiting services for families through resource connection, milestone tracking, developmental screenings, and parent-child interaction activities. Outside of that, Chloe’s (limited) free time is spent watching movies, listening to music, being outdoors, or enjoying a yummy drink at one of Nashville’s many coffee shops.

We can’t say enough good things about our experience with our postpartum doulas, Brayta and Courtney.

The majority of our time was spent with our overnight doula, Brayta. She was a godsend—literally the reason I’ve made it through motherhood. This was our first child, and Brayta helped support me through long nights, frustrating nursing sessions, milk spills, all of it. Her patience and kindness were truly a blessing. She not only supported my journey as a mother but also took wonderful care of our baby.
