Meet Brayta
POSTPARTUM DOULA
Brayta (she/her) is a postpartum doula who supports families exclusively during overnights, and she is beloved by all of her clients for her steadiness, warmth, and compassionate nature.
She has over 17 years experience as a nanny, and has worked in the birth & postpartum world since 2013. She has a background in Child Psychology and Early Childhood education that also informs her doula work.
Brayta is a solo parent of identical twins, Irys & Poppy, and she credits her postpartum doulas with saving her life when she was in the thick of it. She loves helping families get the rest they need while helping to instill healthy sleeping habits for baby/babies. She likes working with families to create a schedule/plan so they can get maximum rest when they are on their own, and she loves nothing more than encouraging new parents and normalizing the postpartum experience.
When Brayta is not snuggling babies (her favorite!), you can find her napping, creating mixed media art, listening to audiobooks on personal growth (among other topics), doing yoga or photography, and traveling with her girls.

We can’t say enough good things about our experience with our postpartum doulas, Brayta and Courtney.
The majority of our time was spent with our overnight doula, Brayta. She was a godsend—literally the reason I’ve made it through motherhood. This was our first child, and Brayta helped support me through long nights, frustrating nursing sessions, milk spills, all of it. Her patience and kindness were truly a blessing. She not only supported my journey as a mother but also took wonderful care of our baby.
