Meet Dana

Dana Burton has spent two decades in utter fascination and interest in supporting pregnancy, birth, and early childhood education. She fulfilled her interest for the last decade by working as a teacher and nanny. Now, as the proud mother of a smart and lovely little girl, her passion is to support Nashville families on their parenting journey no matter where they are in it.

Dana completed her doula trainings in 2017, and she is a certified birth doula, postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and lactation educator. As JetBlue’s Director of Community Service in Nashville and Airport Operations Trainer, Dana is an avid volunteer in our community, serving Nashville and the greater areas with over 200 volunteer hours in the last year.

Dana is honored to serve on the Nashville Birth Collective board as President-elect to make a local impact with outreach education programs for all Nashville families.

When Dana is not supporting and teaching families, she enjoys spending quality with her daughter Katalina at the zoo, salsa dancing (she's a member of Music City Mambo Ladies Salsa Dance Team), traveling with family & friends, and painting & natural light photography.
