Amy is a born and raised Tennessean, and grew up in Shelbyville. She first wanted to be a lawyer, but she changed her mind in college. Amy has a background in sales, marketing, and professional childcare. Previously, Amy gained expertise in sales and management at ServiceSource.
Amy experienced postpartum anxiety after the birth of her first child, and she knows firsthand how important good support and resources can be for families. Following the birth of her second child, Amy realized that her passion was supporting parents throughout the entire process of growing their families.
Amy is a DONA-trained birth doula. As a birth worker, she strives to help families confidently navigate pregnancy, delivery, and the changes that come along with the postpartum period. She has a special interest in serving families who are frequently marginalized or at-risk.
Amy's clients benefit from her ability to get them the resources that they need to help themselves. She loves creating a peaceful birth environment for laboring folks, and she enjoys being an active & direct problem-solver for her clients in labor.
Amy lives in Murfreesboro with her husband, Anthony, and their 2 children. When not helping families, Amy likes to read, watch true crime documentaries, and listen to podcasts
